Managing Editor of the Leinster Express (ext. 1831) since 1984, Teddy Fennelly was its sports editor for many years and later its news editor. A regular contributor to sporting and business publications he has a number of previous titles to his credit including The 100 years of Laois G.A.A. He is a member of various business, cultural, voluntary and sporting organisations and is closely associated with Laois tourism and emigrant support. A keen all-round sportsman, he played inter-county hurling and football with Laois. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Transport. His other interests include current affairs and local history.
