Soccer The C.B.S has many talented soccer players but two of the most successful being Tadhg Murphy and Shaun Tobin. They both play for Home Farm F.C. Last year Home Farm were All- Ireland u-16 champions they also won the D.D.S.L Cup and were runners up in the D.D.S.L League. They also won an International tournament in Holland in the same year. Home Farm F.C are currently in the All-Ireland final V’s Cork City to be played in Tolka park on the 20th of May. Both are training hard twice a week and playing matches on Sundays. Tadhg represented Leinster Schools and the Leinster F.A this year. Tadhg also was on trial with Barnsley and played against Manchester Utd. In Tolka Park during the summer. Both are doing very well and are youth team regulars for Home Farm. The Youth Team being probably the best team in the Club. Both Shaun and Tadhg hope to play League of Ireland football next year and if not play for teams in England. “We wish them both well in their future careers” |
